Description

Paul Engle, Director of the Iowa Writers' Workshop, has Edmund Skellings' picture taken with Robert Frost when the famous New England poet came to the University of Iowa. The photograph was taken outside the old building where the Workshop met and Frost had just spoken to the student writers. Skellings later wrote a poem called "Frost to Skellings" about his brief, but impressionable, meeting with Frost.
