Description

Accomplished people in different walks of life responded to Edmund Skellings' Color Poems, based on his patented color text system. Letters included were sent by Vice President First Lady Joan Mondale and National Endowment for the Arts Chairman Livingston Biddle to Senator Mike Gravel. Mathematician and writer Martin Gardener, Cambridge University Professor Peter Nancarrow, Poet and University of North Carolina Professor Fred Chappell, and University of Massachusetts student Marc Shifflett sent letters to Edmund Skellings.
