Description

General John Bruce Medaris speaks to the Army, Naval, and Air Force Reserve Officers' Training Corps students on the United States missile defense program and its relation to the Space program. He goes on to speak on the specifics of the missile program, and how the development of missiles lead to the later development of rockets for the space program. He goes into the value of a national space program as a method for the scientific development of the country. General Medaris gives a description of what the space program has accomplished and what it hopes to accomplish in the future. General Medaris concludes and there is a question and answer session after his speech.
